PROMOTION: Rianna Lowrance, Marketing Coordinator
FFA has promoted Rianna Lowrance to full-time Marketing Coordinator. A 2012 graduate of the University of Oregon with a degree in psychology, Rianna joined FFA in early 2018 to provide administrative and marketing support. Previously, she worked for a digital marketing & public relations agency after teaching English in Thailand for one year. Rianna is currently supporting FFA’s social media and proposal marketing efforts as well as coordinating events, including the firm’s first Design Week Portland Open House on April 9th.
NEW HIRE: Kathleen Strigle, Architectural Staff
Kathleen Strigle joins FFA after spending the past two years working for another Portland-based architectural firm. A 2016 graduate of Portland State University’s Master’s in Architecture program, Kathleen has been providing architectural support for projects including Oregon City’s new Police and Municipal Courts facility as well as K-12 school renovations for the Lake Oswego School District.
NEW HIRE: James Hawkins, Architectural Staff
James Hawkins joins FFA after finishing his Bachelor of Architecture at Marywood University in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Prior to returning to school, he spent seven years as a sole proprietor building large timber structures across the country using traditional methods. James has provided architectural support on projects including the Oregon City Police and Municipal Courts facility and the Westridge Elementary School Renovation in Lake Oswego.
NEW HIRE: Shelby Syer, Administrative and Accounting Assistant
Shelby comes to FFA after working as an Office Manager for a local Portland Mental Health Care Provider. She studied Anthropology and Marine Biology while attending the University of Massachusetts in Boston. Syer is an avid scuba diver and enjoys spending time volunteering with Ocean Blue Project, cleaning up the Oregon Coast. Since joining FFA, she has been assisting the Accounting Department, providing support with contract administration and managing the day-to-day functions of the office.
